Catherine Tyldesley has revealed that competing in Strictly Come Dancing gave her the confidence to go naked.
The 36-year-old admited she had even been nervous to strip off in front of her husband Tom Pitfield before starring in the show.
But things changed when a costume designer told her to ‘get over it’ when she worried about getting changed.

She told The Mirror that when she was first asked to strip off to try on a costume for the show she nervously asked the costume designer: ‘Are you… staying in the room?’
She revealed that the designer replied: ‘Look Cath, I’m going to see you naked a lot over the next six months. Get over it.’
The actress has a five-year-old son, Alfie, with husband Tom who she married in 2016.

Catherine and her personal trainer Tom have a mutual love of healthy eating and working out together.
The actress has been very open about the fact she overhauled her life after becoming a dress size 22.
Catherine has also revealed she was thrilled when was able to stop wearing her former Coronation Street character Eva Price’s wardrobe in 2018.

She revealed her loathing for Eva’s bras while chatting with her friend Martine Alexander on social media.
She said: ‘Constant push up bras which were perfect for the character, but so uncomfortable.’
The star dyed her normally chestnut tresses a beautiful shade of balayage rose gold and posted a picture of it to Instagram on Thursday.
The beauty debuted the new look on Instagram and captioned the photo ‘#lockdownhair #experiments #playtime’.
To complement the transformation, she coordinated her makeup with the new locks, with blush-toned eye shadow and a nude lip.
Catherine has been showcasing a number of her lockdown looks to her 608,000 Instagram followers during lockdown.

Catherine recently revealed that both of her parents have been battling the coronavirus.
And the actress is now calling for a ‘huge pay rise’ for NHS staff and teachers.
She told Hello! magazine : ‘Like our NHS heroes, teachers deserve a huge pay rise. Alfie’s teacher has been phenomenal, still there for us every day online and with lesson plans for the class.
‘Alfie will happily do his work for his teacher, but when it comes to Mummy it’s a different thing.
‘I was joking with her the other day, saying: “You know Alfie will return to school illiterate but he will know the full vocal score to Annie and Les Misérables!”‘7
