Everton can already call upon Richarlison and Dominic Calvert-Lewin, but it appears Ancelotti is looking to further bolster his forward line.

There is a release clause of €100million (£87million) in Belotti’s contract which is only valid for clubs outside Italy.

Torino are eager to tie Belotti to fresh terms, with his current contract set to expire in the summer of 2022.

The Italy international has scored nine goals in 16 games for his country since making his debut in 2016,

At the age of 26, he still has many years of his career ahead of him and could represent a useful attacking option.
