The 27-year-old has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford when the transfer window next opens, with former club Juventus and LaLiga giants Real Madrid heavily interested in signing him.
But Italian outlet Tuttosport claim Antonio Conte’s men will join the bidding war in trying to prise the Frenchman away from United.
Inter Milan have reportedly joined the race to sign Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba
The Frenchman has been heavily linked with a move to former side Juventus and Real Madrid
The report suggests that the former Chelsea manager – who has already raided United on three occasions since becoming Inter Milan boss – will raise funds to sign Pogba by offloading striker Mauro Icardi.
The Argentine has spent the season on loan at Paris Saint-Germain, and the Ligue 1 side are keen on keeping him after he netted 20 goals in 31 appearances before the outbreak of coronavirus.
Icardi’s agreement at PSG includes an option to buy, and should the French club trigger that option, Inter would receive £62million which could then immediately be used to launch a bid for Pogba.
But Antonio Conte is now preparing to enter the bidding to try and land the Frenchman

Conte will likely face competiton from Juventus for Pogba, who is his former club’s main target
Inter however will likely face competition from Serie A rivals Juventus, with the Frenchman believed to be their primary target.
Real Madrid could also launch a bid with Zinedine Zidane reportedly keen to link up with his compatriot, and according to AS the Spanish side have named him on a three-man shortlist alongside Rennes starlet Eduardo Camavinga and Napoli’s Fabian Ruiz.
The Spanish outlet also state that United may now accept closer to the £100m mark in the current climate of the coronavirus crisis, rather than the £180m they were previously demanding.
A stumbling block that could arrive however is Pogba’s wages, as the World Cup winner would likely surpass Gareth Bale and Sergio Ramos as the leading earner in Madrid.
