But they were torn apart when Neymar left the Nou Camp for PSG in the summer of 2017 for a world-record £198million fee.
Javier Mascherano wants the famous ‘MSN’ frontline to make a comeback at Barcelona
Former Liverpool midfielder Mascherano was team-mates with the trio when they wn the Champions League against Juventus in Berlin and he wants to see them play together once again.
‘The other day, I watched the final in Berlin again and what the three up front created was impressive, Neymar, Suarez and Messi,’ Mascherano told RAC1.
‘Each of them had a position in the team, the pressure after losing the ball and control. They added a lethal edge to our play.
‘I hope Ney returns to Barcelona and they play together. It would be so nice for the club and the fans.’

Neymar has been heavily linked with a return to Barcelona for several years but a move has failed to come to fruition.
However, former Nou Camp vice-president Emili Rousaud claimed on Thursday that a return for Neymar this summer could be ‘possible’.
‘I think it’s possible that Neymar could return in the summer. It does not seem to me an impossibility at all,’ he said.
‘I have a feeling that the [coronavirus] pandemic will lead to some deflation in player prices, which is good for buyers but bad for sellers. We will have to see how all these factors are rebalanced.’
