Tamara Beckwith flouts lockdown rules as she heads to the country for Easter with her kids

Tamara Beckwith and her family appear to have flouted lockdown rules amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

The socialite – who will celebrate her 50th birthday on Friday – took to Instagram over the Easter weekend, posting snaps of her in a large garden with her grown-up daughter Anouska, 33, and a flock of children, hunting for chocolate eggs.

This comes after Tamara – who is also mother to Violet, 10, and Vero, five – lamented not being able to see her eldest child while holed up in London.

She posted a snap of Anouska a week ago, captioning it: ‘Miss our giggles, miss you trying to show me the light… Most of all miss watching you being a wonderful Muma… Love you from afar…’

Yet the Easter photo saw Anouska with her younger siblings enjoying the Easter egg hunt.

Tamara and her husband Giorgio Veroni live with their two children in a Regency-style apartment in Chelsea, from which she has been posting snaps on Instagram during self-isolation.

She told The Telegraph last year that she lacks a garden and would love a home in the country one day.

She said: ‘My children would love [a country home], but Giorgio needs to get to the airport easily for work trips and he’s in Mayfair most days – there are a lot of logistics that need to be tailored to him.

‘I suppose, in an ideal world, we’d have a house in London and then rent something in the country. That would be my dream life.’

Yet on Easter Sunday Tamara posted several sun-drenched snaps in a sweeping countryside garden as her children played with their big sister and their cousin Luna – Anouska’s daughter, who will turn two in August.

She tagged Giorgio and Anouska, as well as Luke McSwiney – Anouska’s other half – and Giorgio’s mother Marina Veroni, proving it was very much a family gathering.

The official government guidelines state: ‘Essential travel does not include visits to second homes, camp sites, caravan parks or similar, whether for isolation purposes or holidays.

‘People must remain in their primary residence. Not taking these steps puts additional pressure on communities and services that are already at risk.’

Tamara has been open about her role as a young grandmother, having had Anouska when she was 17.

She insisted that she wanted to be a ‘glam-ma’ not a grandma, saying in 2018: ‘Giorgio and I are beyond thrilled. Becoming grandparents will be another wonderful chapter in this journey we call life.’
