Worldwide coronavirus cases at 1.52 million, death toll crosses 89,000

More than 1.52 million people have been reported to be infected by the novel coronavirus globally and 89,474​ have died.

Infections have been reported in more than 210 countries and territories since the first cases were identified in China in December 2019.

United States reported 14,771 deaths and 431,753 cases while Spain 15,238 deaths and 152,446 cases

Italy recorded 17,669 deaths and 143,626 cases while Germany suffered 2,232 deaths and 112,170 people test positive for COVID-19.

France has 86,334 positive coronavirus cases and 10,869 have been died so far while Mainland China has 3,335 deaths and 81,907 cases
